T&C's

The below T&C’s along with your official order and payment for order constitute a Contract of Sale between you and Blinds DIY.
1. Placing an Order
1.1 Placing an order with Blinds DIY is simple. Select your products, fill out the order form and pay for your order by one of the prescribed payment methods.
1.2 Upon submitting your order and payment details you will receive an notification email from Blinds DIY acknowledging your order and payment details. The email will also include a Tax Invoice which is to be retained as Proof of Purchase
1.3 By placing an order and providing payment, you are agreeing to enter into a Contract of Sale. You are also agreeing to abide by the terms and condition as identified on Blinds DIY website.
1.4 Blinds DIY reserve the right to refuse service, terminate an order (with full refund), remove or edit website content at their discretion.
1.5. By placing an order with Blinds DIY you are acknowledging that you are not a minor and are over the age of 18 years.
1.6 In the event that an order is placed and accepted by Blinds DIY by using a false declaration of a minor, Blinds DIY reserves the right to recover and loss, financial or otherwise caused by the fraudulent transaction from the minors legal guardians or parents.
2. Product Delivery
2.1 Blinds DIY will commence the manufacturing process of your custom made blinds the following business day after your order has been successfully placed and acknowledge. The standard manufacturing times are between 10-15 working days. Your blinds will be dispatched via our logistics supplier 1 day after the blinds are manufactured. We will notify you via email when your blinds have been dispatched via our logistics supplier.
2.2 Whilst every effort is made to work within these estimated delivery periods, sometimes this is out of the control of our control. In the event that you have not received your order in within 15 working days (3 weeks) we will endeavour to contact you to advise of the status and likely delivery timeframe. You are welcome to contact us at any time during the manufacturing process to get an update of your order.
2.3 Orders will be delivered to the address provided for the order. In the event that your address cannot be found, you will be notified by email. In the event that there is no one there to collect your order, a calling card will be left with details of how to collect your order or arrange another delivery time. Should you agree to have your product left and not signed for, Blinds DIY shall not be held liable for goods delivered under these circumstances. You will be considered to be the owner of the goods after their delivery.
3. Changing or cancelling your order
3.1 Cancellations and changes in orders can only be done within 24 hours after the order is placed. Please phone our office to ensure that we have been advised within this period of time. The production of your blinds will commence after 24 hours (next business day) upon receipt of your order. Any changes or cancellation after this time frame is no longer possible.
Blinds DIY.com.au will not refund any money or issue any credits for a purchase if the cancellation or changes occur at any time beyond 24 hour period.
Our products are all custom made to your specifications and therefore they are not suitable for resale. We strongly observe a No Return and No Refund policy.
Please review all details and check for any errors before placing your order. We require all orders to be fully paid when the order is placed.
4. Freight Claim Policy
4.1 Upon receipt of your order, please be sure to inspect cartons/boxes carefully and note any immediately observed damaged to the driver.
Do not sign for badly damaged cartons or boxes
If you believe the cartons/boxes to be damaged but the product inside undamaged, ask the driver to give you a written copy of the order with a description of the damage
If product is damaged, do not discard the cartons/boxes. All freight claims must be reported to Blinds DIY via email or phone within two days of the original delivery date.
5. Returns Policy
5.1 If you find that your order is not what you ordered or is defective, please contact Blinds DIY immediately (within two working days of delivery receipt). We will require photos of the items that you can email to us for verification.
5.2 We will endeavour to rectify the situation immediately upon verification of the particular case. 
5.3 Upon verification of an incorrectly filled order, we will arrange for the immediate shipment/return of required items at no cost to the customer.
6. Measuring Disclaimer
6.1 Blinds DIY.com.au manufactures blinds according to the measurements and specifications you supplied to us. We are not responsible for any incorrect details made by you when the order is placed. Make sure you have read or viewed our detailed Measuring Guide for the product you are interested in before completing your order. However, if we make a mistake when manufacturing your blinds, we will repair them or replace them at no cost to you. If you have doubts regarding measurements please bring it to our attention and our staff will be happy to assist you.
7. COMPONENT COLOURS
7.1 Blinds DIY reserves the right to colour coordinate blind components. We choose and match the colour of components that best coordinates with the fabric colours. An exact match of component colours is not always possible. Some components of the blinds, for example, vertical tracks are available in white only.
8 COLOUR DISCLAIMER
8.1 Computer monitors have different settings and calibrations that display colours differently and not 100% accurate. Although we do our best to portray the colour as close as possible, we strongly suggest to order free colour samples before placing your order. Blinds DIY offers a maximum of 5 free colour samples. Also, even the actual sample can have slight colour variations compared to finished blinds depending on the batch the fabric was manufactured in. This is the reason why you need to fill in the room or location where your blinds will be fitted so as to ensure that all blinds in the same room came from the same batch.
9 Customer alters product after receiving delivery or misuses the product:
9.1 In the event that a customer chooses to alter product or have the product altered by another provider and the product is damaged and/or does not fit as a result of the alteration, or in the event that the customer misuses the product for purposes other than the intent of being a window furnishing, We shall not be held responsible for the alteration or damages and shall not refund or replace the altered product.
10. Errors in your order
10.1 It is very important that you follow our measuring and installation instructions. When you follow our instructions we guarantee your blinds will fit perfectly! It is equally important that you review your email order confirmation for accuracy. If you make a mistake in measuring or ordering please contact us as soon as possible. Depending on the type of error and where your order is up to in the manufacturing process, it may be possible to rectify without additional expense. Where your blinds have already been manufactured we are unable to re-use or resell these blinds as they are custom made, as such no refunds will be provided. In this instance we will endeavour to work with our customers to ensure they receive the correct blinds and discounts may be available at our discretion.
11. You change your made and no longer want the blinds
11.1 No refunds are permitted in the event that the customer is simply unhappy with their purchase or has changed their mind.
12. GST
12.1 Goods and Services Tax (GST) is a federal tax introduced by the Australian Government. Unless otherwise mentioned on a quote, product listing or any other documentation issued by Blinds DIY, all prices quoted are inclusive of GST.
13. Prices
13.1 All prices listed on the website, in quotes, invoices or any other documentation issued by Blinds DIY are in Australian dollars unless otherwise stated.
14. Credit Card Fraud
14.1 Blinds DIY have incorporated what they believe to be the safest online payment medium for their customers. Despite these best efforts, in the event that sensitive Credit Card information of a customer has been compromised, Blinds Warehouse shall not be held responsible for any damages, consequential losses, direct or indirectly suffered by the customer. Such events can include but are not limited to computer hacking of personal computers, internet redirection of keystrokes or other incidents that are beyond the control of Blinds Warehouse or the use of an individual's credit card by an unauthorised person.
15. WARRANTY
15.1 Blinds DIY.com.au offers 24 months warranty in all of our products. This covers defects in material and workmanship. The warranty applies to the original residential purchaser and must have the proof of purchase.
The following are not covered by this warranty:
• Damages due to faulty installations
• Normal wear and tear, natural fade or oxidation
• Removed and re-installed to another window
• Alteration
• Damaged by animals
• Lack of preventive maintenance
• Misuse and abuse
• Damaged by fire, storm, wind, explosive device, failure of structure or impact from mechanical source
Blinds DIY.com.au will repair or replace (at our discretion) any defective product during the warranty period.
15.2 In the event of a refund, the maximum amount for which Blinds DIY undertakes liability shall under no circumstances exceed the amount paid by the customer for the product including postage and handling.
